Hey! I'm Deborah - certified skin lover, SPF addict, and lover of all things bronze! I've been a qualified esthetician for over 15 years. I'm originally from Dublin, Ireland but I've been based in beautiful BC since 2015. Im also certified in Mole detection. Being able to identify moles, lesions or anything concerning on my clients' skin is hugely important to me.

After losing my father and brother to cancer, and my sister having cancer twice, I am extremely passionate about promoting the use of sunless products to combat skin cancer, premature aging as well as promoting beauty,      self care and confidence in all shapes and sizes.

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer, it is also the most preventable. 

When I moved here, I couldn't believe how Vancouver was home to some of the healthiest & fittest people I have ever met on the one hand, yet on the other, seeing how many tanning bed places there are still knocking about here and even worse again, that some people actually still do them was a big shock to me.

As an Irish girl (we are all sunless tan lovers) moving here, I struggled to find anywhere I could get a spray tan or even many options when trying to buy self tanners. I knew one thing was for sure, there was no way I would be tanning my skin in The Sun. Did you know that just 5 sunburns in your life doubles your risk of skin cancer?

More people develop skin cancer from UV than develop lung cancer from smoking - this is a shocking statistic.

I decided to become part of a change here in Vancity, and Tancouver was born. I left my office job to take a leap of faith and follow my passion. I set up Tancouver Spray Tanning in 2018 and after just 3 years, Tancouver became an award winning spraytan studio. I've had thousands of amazing people through my doors and met so many amazing people, I am so grateful!

It really is a dream to have my own tanning business and I'm so happy to introduce you to my first product - Tinted by Tancouver! I hope you love it as much as I do!
